Still need a team for the hackathon?

In the morning after the opening statements, I’ll be facilitating introductions and will help with brainstorming for those teams still looking for a doable idea.

If you haven’t signed up for a free DevPost account yet, please take a few minutes to do that now. It’s required in order to participate and you can go to the Participants page to post your skills and the types of projects you’re interested in.

If you plan on participating in the Personal Pitch time at the start of the hackathon, it can be helpful to take a few minutes to prepare a bit of info ahead of time.

Be ready to share your skills!

At our recent workshop, Dassi S. shared the following suggestions for preparing your Personal Pitch:

What skills do you bring to the table?
What do you hope to learn?
Who do you want to work with?
What skills do you need to have on your team?

Teams can have between 1-5 people and it’s best to have a mix of developer, designer, and entrepreneurial skills. If you don’t know how to code, that’s totally ok, too! There are lots of ways you can be a great teammate if you come ready to help.
